It’s that time of year again…renewed dreams, fresh commitments, and—my favorite—new “Words of the Year.” Every January, I’m excited to see the diversity of themes…

Babies Don’t Keep

Laying warm clothes onto the bed, I notice your shirt. Black, the required color for work. You’re 20 now, and…how blessed I am to  have these last months with you at home, still able to do your laundry if I manage to beat you to it. Gone are the days of munchkin-sized onesies approximately as big as your current shoe…

Nice Girls’ Manifesto

We’ve all heard the term “Mean Girls” before, right? We might’ve even known a few, over the years. Well—step aside “Mean Girls,” — God’s girls are Nice Girls. A Sisterhood that thrives on Hospitality of Spirit, empowering one another with social grace. A sisterhood that remembers—when one succeeds, we all succeed, because—ultimately all the glory belongs at His feet, not…

Dear friend, can you relate to being in that place of striving to do it all, lest you miss out on something meaningful, while quietly feeling weary and worn?
.
We often hear the acronym FOMO—the “fear of missing out.” But what a lullaby it would sing to our weary spirits, if instead we embraced a different kind of FOMO—the “freedom of missing out.” 🙌

You can read the full devotion live today at Proverbs 31 Ministries! ✨

I’d love to hear your story, friend. Have you ever felt similarly? 💕
